Qualifications: 

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. 

  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

  • Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

House Supervisor RN Night Shift

Shift: Full-Time - 36 hours per week; weekend and holiday rotation per department requirements Job Summary: The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the provision of quality nursing care during assigned shifts. This position serves to facilitate patient throughput throughout the entire system. They will serve as a nursing clinical resource person who provides guidance, and the interpretation and enforcement of established policies and procedures and intervenes in difficult situations or medical crisis. The House Supervisor assumes overall responsibility for adequate staffing for next shifts and, in the absence of department leadership, assumes the duties of that department until relieved of those responsibilities. Part-time - 48 hours per pay period Job Responsibilities: Oversee activities and operation of nursing units during assigned shift. Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess quality of patient care, ensure patients and family needs are met and documentation that care meets established standards of nursing practice. Coordinate inter- and intra-departmental activities related to delivery of patient care such as assisting in resolving patient admission and transfer problems, securing medication, supplies and equipment and obtaining needed records and reports.
