Acts as team member for multiple units while being assigned to one unit per shift. The Float RN does not have a physical home unit and instead reports to the house supervisor and is assigned to a unit. Essential Job Duties : Performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for the level of care appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
