Your Role & Impact The RN Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the MAT program for individuals with substance use disorders. This role requires a licensed nurse who will coordinate MAT services, provide direct patient care, and ensure the safe and effective administration of medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. The MAT Coordinator will work closely with healthcare providers, therapists, SUD counselors, and case managers to support patients throughout their recovery journey. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. At least five (5) years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting. A minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures and healthcare operations and workflow. Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related courses. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding. Experience working with Electronic Health Records.
