Job Summary Seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide companion care for an elderly lady living in Alexandria, VA. Vietnamese fluency is highly desirable. Expected shifts are mornings for 4 hours, 3 days per week. She is a petite lady who needs assistance with ADLs to include transferring, bed baths, and dressing. Some meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands may be expected. She lives with her family who needs help caring for her during their busy time of day. Caregiver must have reliable transportation. High likelihood of additional shifts later. Benefits: Start at $18 per hour. Time and a half for major holidays. Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client. Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees. Report client complaints to the PAS Supervisor. Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: One year of experience as a Caregiver. CNA is highly desirable.
