Shifts are typically 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with minimal weekend coverage approximately four hours every six weeks. Position Summary The Oncology nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients and is responsible for delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care. Practicing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Experience A minimum of two years of practice as a registered nurse in an acute care setting is preferred but not required.
