We are seeking a dedicated medical assistant with a proven track record in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting physicians. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
  • Record patients' vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and sterilize equipment and supplies as per protocols.
  • Assist physicians/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols.
  • Prepare patient records for visits as directed by the physician/provider.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency, including proficiency in aseptic techniques, sterilization, practice management systems, EMR, and scheduling protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with basic keyboard proficiency

Location and Travel Requirements:

  • Onsite - Schuyler Hospital Primary Care/Ovid Primary Care - 220 Steuben St, Montour Falls, NY 14865
  • Shift - Per Diem - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Travel: 25% travel between the Cayuga Medical Center, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology offices

Pay Range Disclosure:

  • $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
