While the unit does not have a specific number of beds, it plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during various imaging studies. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services. Shift requirements: Four 9-hour shifts/week, M-F 7a-430p. Closed/on call weekends and holidays. Call is roughly one evening per week, one weekend per month, and two holidays per year. Must live within a 45-minute response time of the hospital. Perform routine charting duties as required & in accordance with established charting & documentation policies & procedures. Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician. Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
