Adult and pediatric hospitalists are available for consultation and patient admissions. Specialty coverage is provided by orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology and cardiology. We also have a stroke telehealth program in conjunction with St. Vincent Ascension in Indianapolis. Responsibilities Supervises nursing personnel activities daily and participates in the delivery of general nursing duties. Administers prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing procedures and physician order. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment and examinations of patients. Assesses patient vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determines patient progress. Has daily responsibility in areas of personnel assignments, supervises licensed and non-licensed personnel, patient placement, cost containment, patient and family education and customer satisfaction.
