Responsibilities Assesses the needs of patients and families in the home environment. Develops plan of care for the patient in conjunction with the physician and other health care providers. Administers prescribed care according to physician orders. Educates caregivers on plan of care and provides support to patient and families in providing needed care. Works with support services in obtaining needed supplies, equipment, and services for patients. Qualifications Work requires a basic knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, nursing interventions, pharmacology,methods utilized for delivering nursing care, and the management of patients and personnel. Ability to complete documentation on a computer. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Indiana RN license required. Current Indiana Driver’s License required. Must have own car. Must pass Criminal Record Check. Must be free of infectious disease. For Home Care RN, six (6) months of recent nursing experience and previous home care experience preferred. For Hospice RN, one (1) year nursing experience and previous hospice experience preferred. Adult hospitalists provide excellent 24/7 coverage and support to our nursing team. We have strong surgical support for orthopedic and general surgery which provides to the majority of our inpatient surgery patients. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits and flexibility. Cross trained to function adequately in C.S. and receiving and decontamination. Qualifications Work requires proficiency in the application of sterile procedures in an operating room setting. This is acquired after graduation from a surgical technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health education and accreditation.
