Overview ICU, CCU, & Stepdown: If you are looking to progress your tele, step-down, or ED career towards a more centralized focus on critical care, this 16 bed ICU is an appealing unit to make that progression. This mixed surgical, respiratory, and cardiac ICU has a vast critical care patient population including critical cancer patients, respiratory distress with intubation, multisystem organ failure, craniotomies, and autoimmune diseases. Experience the benefits that this closed ICU offers, with intensivist driven care from physicians that are progressive and up to date with the current research and trends in ICU/CCU. This units offers tremendous supports to its staff, with 3 PCT’s on every shift, health unit coordinators, and a mobile IV Therapy Team to assists in peripheral and central line placements. Management includes four clinicals leaders, with two on day shift and two on night shift, who are not part of assignment ratios and therefore available as dedicated resources to staff.
