Description
Position Summary: Provides patient care before and during EPS procedures, cross train to EMTI Admit/Recovery area, device and ablation lab technical positions. Responsible for patient education pertinent to EP procedures. Administers moderate sedation under the direction of the EP Physician. Participates in materials management and research. Assists with the orientation of new staff members.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of Critical Care nursing experience or 3 to 5 years of Cardiac experience required. EPS lab or Cath lab experience preferred.
Education: Graduate of accredited diploma, associates degree or baccalaureate degree nursing program required. BSN preferred.
License and Credentials: NJ State RN license, BLS and ACLS Certifications required. CCRN, RCES or RCIS certifications preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced complex environment. Computer literacy. Familiarity with MS Office Applications.
Preferred: Moderate Sedation, IABP experience.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 72: 7am-7pm
The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08
