Department Overview 14C Medicine is a 31 bed acute care medicine unit. The 14C Medicine unit provides service to patient populations ages 18-100+ who have a variety of medical, acute care diagnoses and some cardiac conditions, such as atrial arrhythmias and NSTEMI cases. Patients require acute medical and nursing interventions such as intravenous fluids, tube feedings, pain management, respiratory care, including tracheostomy and stable ventilators, cystic fibrosis, antibiotics administration, diabetes management, heart failure care, endocarditis therapy, detox, behavioral and/or crisis management.
