The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in working with patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team by monitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural medication including sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients. Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship. According to the individual care plan, assist the residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration. Requirements CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet the state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
