This is a 21 bed acuity adaptable unit serving medical/surgical and progressive care patients. The scope of service includes providing post-operative surgical care for patients who have undergone orthopedic joint replacements, abdominal surgery, genitourinary surgery, as well as medical managementfor diabetic, cardiac, gastrointestinal, trauma, neurological, and respiratory patients requiring admission. Patients may be monitoredby telemetry. Progressive care patients need close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't unstable enough to require ICU care.
