174137 Job Description Facilitates patient admission, discharge, intra-hospital and inter-facility transfer processes through clinical triage. Utilizes the electronic bed board to assign patients beds to the appropriate clinical unit. Job Responsibility Prioritizes and assigns beds based on appropriate level of care and patient aggregation from the Emergency Department, Perioperative Services, MD offices and patient transfers from other hospital. Helps facilitate patient transfer to inpatient bed and ensures hand off communication to accepting nurse.
