Education Requirements BSN required License/Certification/Registry Current NJ RN License and BLS, ACLS and PALS required. CPAN preferred. _Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. Job Summary The Advanced Practice Nurse is an expert clinician and patient advocate in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing practice. The Advanced Practice Nurse can be a credentialed Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner. The Advanced Practice Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established joint nursing/medical protocols. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Advanced Practice Nurse role include education, research and consultation.
