Performs interventions to ensure the patient is at or returned to normothermia at the conclusion of the immediate postoperative period; 11. Accurately and safely administers sedation/analgesia. Summary of Position: The Medical Assistant (MA) works with all members of the care team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties as established in the roles and responsibilities defined below.
