Description US:NV:Carson City Emergency Department Full Time Day Shift About Carson Tahoe Health CTH is a not-for-profit healthcare system with 240 licensed acute care beds, fully accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). We serve a population of over 250,000 and feature two hospitals, two urgent cares, an emergent care center, outpatient services and a provider network with 19 regional locations. Summary Responsible for the leadership, coordination and supervision of the specified unit(s) under their purview. Primary duties include responsibility for day to day operations, financial accountability, and upholding quality and patient safety standards. They will have direct oversight, where applicable, of the supervisor(s), charge nurses, nursing and support staff. The Nurse Manager will plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care. Practices within the scope prescribed by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.
