Duties Description Candidate will work as a Residential Registered Nurse I. The candidate will provide oversight individuals with developmental disabilities who have a variety of other medical and psychological diagnoses. Supervises overall individual's health care needs and works with house management to implement optimal care. Assess individuals on an ongoing basis, identifying needs and provides medical follow up (work with house leadership to coordinate appointments for primary, consultant services and required tests/diagnostics). Shadow experiences for those interested in getting additional insight on this rewarding opportunity The LPN will be responsible for, but not limited to: Assist Director with overall operations Coordinate care for residents who are functionally, physically, and/or cognitively impaired and need 24 hour oversight Speaking to resident and family member concerns Scheduling and conflict mediation with staff Supervise Resident Assistants and LPN staff Speak to applicable regulations, policies and procedures and be able to interpret them as situations arise Minimum Requirements : Valid NYS LPN license Preferred Requirements : 1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills 1+ yr working in a skilled nursing facility Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment Ability to engage within a team setting Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field Pay Range: $27.00 - $33.10 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
