Provides immediate feedback to employee (strength and opportunity areas), updates tracking too and adds comments. · Incident Reporting: timely reports incidents and discusses with Director Opportunities and solutions to prevent incidents from reoccurring. · Licenses and accreditations: Ensures All Nurses have all appropriate licenses/accreditations, keeping track and anticipating due dates. · Interviews potential candidates and provides new employee onboarding is effective. · Provides continuous and effective coaching and continuously monitors team member’s performance and does appraisal meetings twice a year. · Ensures correct operation and availability of medical and administrative equipment by tracking inventories and location. · Ensures infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration, storage procedures and controlled substance regulations. · Ensure compliance safety, clinical/operational processes, procedures and policies, state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements. · Continuously obtains updated information about the Key Performance indicators chosen by leadership for the unit. · Promotes a healthy work environment. · All other tasks as related to the position’s duties.
