SHIFT: Per Diem Days and Nights PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY PREFERRED WAGE: $33-$36 Commensurate with experience Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN): · Provides plan care for all resident attending to. · Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit. · Must document changes and follow up on condition. · Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient/resident units. · Ensures that resident’s/patient’s rights are adhered to. · Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines. · Performs related duties as required. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN): · Current RN license in the state of Florida. · CPR/ACLS Certification. · Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with geriatric patients, residents, family members, employees, and other facility guests. · Ability to document information concisely and accurately. · Minimum of Six months to 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse working in a nursing home and/or hospital environment preferred · Ability to think and act calmly to handle the unusual occurrences of the job. · Must pass a Level II Background Screening . · Must pass drug test .
