Job Summary The Home Care Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct nursing services to individuals and families in the home and in the community. This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor, Home care, in conjunction with the patient’s primary nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate of an approved practical/vocational nursing program. Experience Minimum two years of medical/surgical experience required. Knowledge and experience in the practice of community health nursing preferred. Home care experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification Current MA license to practice as practical/vocational Nurse. BLS healthcare provider required Skills Basic nursing skills. Communication skills. Assessment skills. Critical thinking skills. Organizational skills. Computer skills. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Position Summary/ Department Summary: Nurse Practitioner, Pain Treatment Service- Per Diem Key Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children, adolescents and adults chronic pain conditions. Accountability for care of patients with chronic pain conditions including Injections, follow up appoints and phone triage. Working 10-hour days Monday through Fridays including 4 shifts per month Minimum Qualifications Education: A master’s degree in nursing Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care background Excellent critical thinking skills Meticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb collaborative skills Licensure/ Certifications: A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner BLS and PALS certification appBCH
