The Day Center CNA ( Certified Nurse Assistant) works at our Adult Day Health Center assisting participants with ADLs (activities of daily living) and providing both restorative and supportive care. Follow the care plan and assist participants with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, and toileting. Document care provided in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and applicable regulations. Carry out, reports and documents care given in an effective, timely manner as observed by the RN and through periodic record reviews. Monitor/assist participants in a courteous manner with meals and helps with feeding, as necessary. Report any variance, accident, or unusual occurrence to the appropriate personnel. Assist with loading and unloading of participants from vehicles. Assist the transportation department with participants’ take-home supplies. Serve as a bus attendant on company vehicles while InnovAge drivers transport participants to/from center or medical appointments supporting participants while in transit and accompanying participants in and out of facilities. A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team.
