Unit Description: The Ross Heart Hospital Operating Room Prep and Recovery (OPR) Unit supports pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for non-ICU surgical patients in the Ross Operating Rooms. With six bays, the unit is staffed by a skilled team of Registered Nurses who work closely together to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Minimum Qualifications For Hire: 2- year College Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a major in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is preferred.
