We are looking for an LPN to join our occupational health team! The current schedule for this position is 7 am- 4 pm Monday-Friday. What You'll Do: Ensures all patient paperwork and records are reviewed and processed correctly and timely to expedite patient care; processes all required forms and medical records and utilizes software systems to input data and statistics for electronic management of patient and claims; responsible for patient claims processing and management; ensures physician and clinical team are kept informed of all patient care and claim updates. Provides delegated patient care (i.e. Data collection, administer medications, applies and changes dressings, cleans wounds, takes vital signs, etc.) to assigned group of patients utilizing established standards of nursing care; provides nursing services in accordance with industrial and occupational health standards; provides emergency nursing care to industrial injury outpatients; ensures duties are completed in a timely manner, reported and documented; under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Sets up, stocks and maintains supplies and equipment as needed for patient care; checks supplies for outdated items and returns to appropriate department when necessary; performs Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard audiometric screens, collects specimens for drug/alcohol screens; collects blood and/or urine as ordered; performs respiratory fit testing; performs breath alcohol tests as requested. Documents nursing care given using established forms; accurately reports results of medications and treatments; recognizes potential/actual complications and reports and records them immediately; documents all progress in patient medical records; contributes to planning & implementing patient educational/instructional needs as delegated by and observed by the Registered Nurse. What You'll Do: Prepare and organizes the operating room, equipment, instruments and supplies per the manufacturer’s instructions for use as required for various surgical procedures; Adheres to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment Anticipates and provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedure(s) Performs sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to policy. We are looking for a Procedural Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! What You’ll Do: Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, analysis, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assist physicians in managing cardiac patients, including direct care within the cardiac cath/interventional lab and during cardiac or non-cardiac procedures. Administer and manage cardiac medications and maintain a sterile field during applicable procedures. Conduct Point of Care (POC) testing and monitor patients undergoing procedural sedation. Operate radiographic and angiographic imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards. Collaborate with interventional radiology techs on documentation, policy, ACC reporting, inventory management, and quality assurance. Collect and document accurate data for patient care and outcomes, including electrocardiographic and hemodynamic monitoring. Educate patients and families with relevant health information and provide appropriate written materials. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality nursing care. Must respond promptly to emergencies and arriving at the hospital within 30 minutes as needed. We are looking for a Nursing Student Extern to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! What You'll Do: Collect and document vital signs, basic assessments, and patient data. Assist with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, feeding, and positioning. Participate in admission data collection, discharge readiness activities, patient education and communication during handoff. Perform validated nursing skills (with supervision). Assist the RN with patient care procedures as allowed by policy.
