Responsibilities What You'll Do: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is vital in delivering comprehensive care to both youth and adults, focusing on the administration and documentation of medications, transcribing provider orders, and performing continuous assessments. Clinical Tasks: Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers. Accurately record all medications brought in by individuals. Behavioral Health Support: Assist Behavioral Health Specialists in managing the milieu and gathering information related to psychopharmacological and physiological needs for both youth and adults. Provide education on physical health, psychiatric diagnoses, treatment options, and psychopharmacology to individuals, their families, and others involved in their care. Crisis Intervention: Use appropriate verbal interventions to defuse potentially dangerous or out-of-control behaviors in both youth and adult populations.
