Registered Nurse Per Diem/PRN Tier 2 - Day & Night Shift

Schedule: 2 12-hour shifts per week, at least 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, and 1 major & 1 minor holiday

Compensation: $60.00 per hour plus shift differentials for nights & weekends

Sign-on bonus: $6,000

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers
Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Instruct and counsel patients/families

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid State RN license
At least one year of RN experience
BLS required at hire

Preferred Qualifications:

BSN or enrollment in a BSN program
Clinical experience

Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem ALL SHIFTS The Registered Nurse is responsible for the management of an assigned unit on a specific tour of duty. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must currently be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners. Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Know and support the philosophy, goal and objectives of the Nursing Department. Supervise Nursing Assistants and Staff Assistants. Assign resident care responsibilities to nursing personnel based on residents' needs, available staff and unit needs. Collaborate, communicate and cooperate as appropriate with other health care providers to insure quality care, including transcribing physician's orders according to facility procedures.
