Overview Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager (NM), directs, coordinates, and controls the nursing activities of his or her assigned staff. Assists the NM in evaluation of assigned staff and in completion of assigned projects. The Nurse RN Charge provides care for a group of patients utilizing the Nursing Process. The Nurse RN Charge may also provide nursing care to patients in select phases of Perioperative care based on demonstrated competencies.
