Performs peripheral lab draws and administers vaccines including influenza and pneumococcal. Documents accurately in the medical record the care that was delivered, activities completed, and other data that is collected for the patient. Enters orders into the electronic medical record on behalf of the provider at the direction of the provider. Coordinates prescription refills and requests as directed/ordered by provider. Distributes educational information and instructions for patient care, diagnostics, and treatments to patients and caretakers as directed by provider in preparation for tests, procedures and treatments.
