Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (Part-Time) Worcester, Massachusetts UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Child & Adolescent Psychiatry team. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary academic health system dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health care to children and families across Central Massachusetts. Position Overview The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, in consultation with the designated supervising psychiatrist, is primarily responsible for providing psychiatric evaluation, brief treatment, and medication management to patients ranging from children and adolescents to young adulthood across the designated service population. The need for psychiatric services may be generated by a primary mental health condition or secondary to co-existing medical conditions. The PMHNP will work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. The Care Mobile services 28 Worcester public and charter schools with nine neighborhood sites across the city and surrounding towns. The advanced practice position needs to be an FNP or PA, as we see children and adults, with a minimum of 1-day shift per month which will be 6-7 hours (typically, 9am-4pm) on the Care Mobile or in the community . Learn more at www.landmarkmedical.org. 32hrs/week 3:00-11:00pm Responsibilities The CNA in the Emergency Department is an certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Qualifications 1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required. 2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology. 4. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below): 1.
