Our Observation Unit primarily cares for post-surgical patients requiring short hospital stays. Approximately 75% of our patients are transferred from PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) for overnight monitoring, while the remaining 25% are admitted from the Emergency Department for short-term observation. The typical patient stay ranges from 8 to 36 hours, with most discharging home.
