JOB TITLE : Medical Assistant GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with the front office and as a member of the patient care team. These duties include scheduling, coordinating patient services, performing check-in procedures, patient preparation, recording vitals and medical history, instrument care and a variety of front office tasks in a clinical setting. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff, authorizations, external agencies and patients. REQUIREMENTS : Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization. Certification Required. 
The LVN/RN is a vitality specialist that helps change the lives of patients and residents each day. This position is for the Weekend Double shift on the skilled hall. A LPV/LVN is responsible for providing a full range of nursing in an interdisciplinary environment including: -Treatments -Care Planning -Medication Administration (to include IV therapy)-Provision of Direct Patient Care -Problem Solving -Monitoring Patient Care provided by unlicensed staff. POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for performance of preventive maintenance activities on assigned medical equipment, reverse/osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery systems, inventory controls and quality controls. Performs and completes assigned duties and reporting in a timely, efficient, and competent manner. Complies with University Health and department policies and regulations for proper use and care of equipment and supplies. Maintains good public and personnel working relations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Course of study in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment or RO water treatment is required. National Certification through BONENT or NANT preferred. Two years of experience in preventive maintenance activities, maintenance and repair of dialysis machines, and water treatment equipment are required.
