Position Summary: The Specialty Nurse functions under the direction of the Specialty Clinic Charge Nurse. Accepts membership on staff committees as assigned, to participate in the activities, deliberations, and decisions of those committees within the context of the best interest of the patients, the corporation, and the medical staff. Contributes to the training of PA, NP students who area accepted for clinical rotations at the YKDRH. Position Summary: The Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, (PA, NP) shall be committed to contributing to the mission of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC), “Working Together to Achieve Excellent Health.” The PA is an employee working under the supervision of the Medical Director who is in turn supervised by the Chief of Staff.
