The Baltimore Museum of Art is recognized for having one of the nation’s most remarkable collections of 18th-, 19th-, and 20th-century art. When it’s time to travel, Baltimore-Washington International Airport is 13 miles from downtown. You’re also not too far from Ronald Reagan National and Dulles International airports. For day trips, you can drive to Annapolis and Washington D.C. in under 40 minutes if the traffic isn’t bad. Even closer is the 1,800-acre Gunpowder Falls State Park — one of the largest in Maryland — where you can go hiking, biking, swimming, sailing, and more. In the winter, it’s a great place to cross-country ski.

Speaking of seasonality, the year-round weather in Baltimore is humid and hot in the summer, with average highs above 79 degrees. Winters are cold and occasionally snowy, with average highs below 52 degrees.
