Responsibilities The Emergency Room (ER) Tech provides basic patient care under the direction of licensed nursing and/or physician staff as assigned. Performs direct and indirect diagnostic, therapeutic, administrative, service and other tasks as appropriate to facilitate safe, quality patient care while ensuring efficient, smooth functioning unit operations. Applies knowledge and understanding of principles of patient growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients. Qualifications No experience required. The LPN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; addresses health educational needs for patients, families and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to the office operations; and applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
