Caregiver Shift Details:

  • 3-hour shift to 12-hour shift
  • Mon-Fri
  • Weekends as needed

Caregiver Qualifications:
  • Professional individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and are personable.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and client’s family.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must.
  • Required to pass a background check and drug test.
  • TB test in the last 12 months or chest x-ray in the last 5 years. If you do not have this, we will help you get one.

The Caregiver is an essential role in the total quality client/family coordination of care in a multidisciplinary method under the supervision of the nursing staff and the program coordinator. The Caregiver provides direct client care and is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living that promotes the child's independence. Our Caregivers encourage engagement in developmentally appropriate activities and collaborate in the planning of a daily schedule. Qualifications The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner. Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems. Childcare and/or Healthcare experience preferred. A current negative Tuberculosis test (PPD) is required.
