Caregiver Responsibilities:

Caregiver Requirements:

  • Companionship and/or Personal Care experience, preferred
  • A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others
  • Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel within Pulaski, Russell, Wayne, Rockcastle & McCreary counties
  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid KY Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass background checks and work-related references
  • Must pass drug testing
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or care for a family member is preferred but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED

POSITION PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work requires moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting clients in transfer activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping. Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, see, reach, kneel, and crouch. Lifting only up to 25 pounds is permitted and may be required.
