Comfort Keepers is currently hiring compassionate Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve clients throughout Owensboro, KY and surrounding communities.

Caregiver Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, HHA, or CNA, you will provide non-medical in-home support that promotes safety, independence, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Ambulation and mobility assistance using proper techniques
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal preparation
  • Transportation to appointments and errands
  • Medication reminders in accordance with the care plan
  • Observing and reporting changes in client condition
  • Supporting clients living with dementia or other age-related conditions

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation with active auto insurance

Duties may include personal care, companionship, supervision, and assistance with household tasks. Must demonstrate satisfactory completion of any mandated training. Employee must be insurable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional Reference Checks and give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
