This is a Full Time, benefited OR RN position working a varied shift (630am-1700) Monday - Friday. No holidays, weekends or Call. It is located at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (Outpatient) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required
  • One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 2 or more years in an ASC
  • scrub experience
  • ACLS through AHA is required within 3 months of start date
