Qualifications Equal to completion of 4 years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training is required. Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program is required. Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist certifying body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologist is required.
