The Nursing Internship Program is designed to offer nursing students hands-on experience in various areas of the nursing profession beyond traditional hospital bedside care. Throughout the program, you will gain exposure to patient care needs across the healthcare continuum, as well as participate in enrichment experiences such as our Day in the Life of a Nurse series, Enterprise Foundations, networking events, and student cohort connections. Primary Responsibilities As a Nurse Intern, you will learn how to manage the care of members in their homes or other community settings by completing in-person health assessments and coordinating patient care, focusing on disease management, and keeping members healthy and independent.
