Our Center offers a comprehensive range of treatments, so patients know they are getting the most advanced care for their wound. The Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) on-site, which can be an essential part of the healing process. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Schedules will be 5 8-hr shifts with a day off every other week. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
