Summary: The Clinical Nurse - Pool, provides direct care to patients and demonstrates safe practice within the domains of clinical judgment and decision-making, nurse-patient/family relationships, clinical leadership, and clinical scholarship. The only difference from nurses assigned to a particular unit is that you do not find out which unit you are working until you arrive at work. Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain infection control and safety protocols throughout the facility. Monitor and report incidents or changes in resident conditions per facility policy. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of employment, in good standing Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care or similar setting Supervisory or charge nurse experience required Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred, depending on facility) Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation Knowledge of nursing home regulations and resident rights Schedule: Days 7a-7p, Nights 7p-7a
