There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested. This position qualifies for a $12,000 Sign on Bonus. Job Duties/Responsibilities Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians. Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques. Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being. Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team. Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation. Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred. ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred. CPR certification required.
