RN Director of Cardiovascular ICU and Telemetry Full Time M-F 8am-5pm with after-hours call as needed The CV/CICU is a 24-bed intensive care unit providing comprehensive nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The targeted nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with a 1:1 assignment for patients with higher acuity. Ratios may be adjusted by the charge nurse based on patient needs and staffing considerations. This model requires nurses to effectively coordinate interdisciplinary care and advocate for individualized patient needs. Nursing care is delivered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Responsibilities Under the direction of the director/clinical coordinator/charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
