Office of Advanced Practice Full Time 88203BR Job Summary The Emergency Department APP Manager provides leadership to advanced practice providers in the Emergency Department and is responsible for the success of the Emergency Department APP group. Administrative and managerial responsibilities fall into five major areas: 1. Administrative; 2. Staff Development; 3. Education; 4. Leadership 5. Emergency Department services. In addition the APP manager is an expert clinician in delivering Emergency Department medicine.Maintains 24 hour line management responsibility for the administration of fiscal, material, and human resources. The primary managerial responsibility of the ED Manager is the oversight of the clinical care provided by the Emergency Department APP group. In California, nurse practitioners (APRNs) and physician assistants (PAs) can practice, bill, and provide independent health care services under a standardized procedure or practice agreement in collaboration with a supervising physician. This position requires both a role as provider of clinical services as determined by the manager and the administrative functions of the position which involve future workforce planning, orientation of new APP providers, cost center management, and optimization strategies. In addition to the above described responsibilities, the clinical care provided by advanced practice providers (APPs) the ED APP Manager must oversee compliance with organizational and regulatory agency standards and state practice requirements. Cancer Center Infusion Full Time 87747BR Job Summary Manages advanced practice operations in a specific patient care area. Oversees clinical care provided by advanced practice providers (APP) and ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory agency standards.
