Accurately and thoroughly document your patient encounter and ensure accuracy. Analyze test data to diagnose, treat and arrange appropriate follow up for the patient to ensure continuity of care. The role is primarily 1st assisting in the operating room, but inpatient rounds and clinic are also included. The ideal applicant will be able to work daily in the OR in robotic, laparoscopic, and some open cases. The applicant should be comfortable working and communicating effectively with multiple providers, the OR, hospital staff, and consulting departments as needed. The hours will be determined based on the needs of the current team and the new APP. Coverage needs for the team are typically 7a->finish, Monday through Friday, with some days being busier than others. One weekend per month is required to help with rounds. There is no phone coverage required outside of the hospital. Responsibilities: 1.
