The practitioner will provide care to adults with life-threatening illnesses and will be an integral part of the critical care team headed by an attending intensivist, who will be on-site 24/7. Duties include ICU rounding, Rapid Response Team leader, procedures including intubations, central line insertion, arterial line insertion. APP will be able to work 6 (12-hour) shifts per month. Combination of night week day and weekend shifts. 6pm-6am Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
