Observes and documents effectiveness, recognizes and reports adverse reactions immediately. · Performs pre-operative and post-operative care and instruction for each assigned surgical patient during office visit. · Collects and labels specimens per policy when ordered by physician. · Administers internal feedings via ng tube, g tube, and/or j tube. · Initiates wound and skin protocol upon identification of risk. · Inserts intermittent or indwelling urinary catheter using aseptic technique. Minimum Requirements: · Graduated from accredited school of practical nursing. Must provide official transcripts and conferral letter. · Authorization to test for the NCLEX exam. You will be required to obtain a FL LPN license within 90 days of graduation to remain employed as an LPN. · Authorization from the Florida Board of Nursing to practice as a Graduate Nurse. · BLS required.
