CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Responsibilities: Gives direct care as assigned, i.e., bath, shower, oral hygiene, giving and removing bedpans/urinals, personal grooming, and all other hygienic needs Cleans and cares for bedside equipment and the residents' environment, occupied and unoccupied beds, bedside tables, dressers, residents' clothing, and personal belongings Practices safety rules at all times to prevent accidents Assist the nurse in maintaining continuous observation of and assisting residents Conduct resident care rounds, visiting each resident for at least one to two hours Prepare residents for meals, and help or feed residents as needed Completes all documentation before the end of the shift Establishes and maintains a rapport with residents, families, visitors, and all levels of staff CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Qualifications: Must have a valid and clear Florida CNA certification number Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience for senior care is preferred but not required Well versed with documentation writing on Point Click Care (PCC) system; training provided Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion Collaborates with all disciplines to provide the best patient-centered treatment and care Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA, and Federal Residents' Rights Shift: All Shifts Salary: $16.50 per hour Coral Reef Subacute Care Center, formerly Coral Reef Nursing and Rehab Center, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
